After a traumatic experience the day prior at another dealership, I made the hour trek out to Carriage Nissan after speaking with Anthony Hernandez. Like most people, I loathe the process of negotiating a car purchase but Anthony said there were several options on the lot that fit my parameters. I immediately jumped in the car and was on my way. About 10 minutes before we arrived at the dealership, I received a call from James Westbrooks explaining that Anthony was leaving for the day and he would be taking care of me instead. Jaded by my prior experience, I was sure I was headed for the old bait and switch. Contrarily, I was very pleased with James. He was newer on the sales team and steered me in the direction of the Nissan Versa, as opposed to the Ford Focus I was considering. He was objective and very in tune to features and functions he thought I would find important. The day prior, I was quoted an exorbitant interest rate and walked off the competitor's lot. I was pleasantly surprised when James came back with half the APR quoted to me the day prior. Anthony ended up sticking around and helping me through the purchase. Both guys were great and got me in a much better vehicle than I thought I could afford. Most sales guys are predictable and play the whole cat and mouse game, pursuing you out the door after exhausting your patience. Thankfully, these guys have transcended this archaic and predictable sales tactic and deal with you honestly up front. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the market for a vehicle, unless your a masochist, in which case you may want to consider Rick Case Hyundai instead.

I was really dreading trying to buy a car, because my credit wasn't that great, but Bruce was friendly and very helpful in helping find the perfect car for me that I could afford, and it was my favorite color 'baby blue'. I bought a Versa Note and the outside is deceiving because it looks so small, but actually it has a lot of room inside. I mainly wanted a car that was good on gas, because I drive out of town for work, and it is getting over 35 mpg and I'm loving that. The money I am saving on gas is paying my new car payment.
